Welcome!
On June 16-18, 2021, KHQS Annual Meeting and Getaway will once again convene in Cave City, KY. Our meetings, lectures and meals are located in the Cave City Convention Center. Lodging is less than a quarter mile away. All facilities are handicapped accessible and have adequate parking.

General Schedule Information
Registration begins at 7:00 am on Wednesday at the Convention Center. KHQS, QAK and KHAS annual meetings are held during Getaway as well. Getaway ends at 4pm on Friday. Be sure to check out the General Schedule for specific times.

Challenges, Activities, and Vendors
• Challenge quilts, block contests, games, and door prizes will add to Getaway enjoyment!
• Back by popular demand, the Kentucky Quilt Company will be here once again with a large selection of fabrics and tools. Be sure to call for any needed supplies so they will be ready for pickup when you arrive in Cave City.
• Quilter's Trunk is returning and will service any breakdowns that occur during Getaway. Unfortunately, they are unable to offer machine repair services or handle any sales during Getaway to Retreat 2021.
• Snippy Jim will be here all day on Wednesday and on Thursday morning to sharpen all your scissors and knives. See details on the vendor pages.

Accommodations
Make your reservations for lodging at Sleep Inn and Comfort Inn ($92.00 plus taxes) or at Baymont Inn ($65.00 plus taxes). Baymont Inn rooms are outside access and there is no elevator. Request a lower level room if this is important to you. All options offer free breakfast. See details and reservation information later in the brochure. Reserve your room early!
