Tina's Longarm Stitches
Paris KY 40361
I began quilting in 2004 with the gift of a used sewing machine from my mother-in-law. Over the years, as I learned new skills from various teachers I longed to have a machine that would allow me to do exactly what I could envision in my head but was prohibited by the narrow throat space of sewing machines and the bulk of my quilts. Last year my dream to purchase a longarm was finally realized. My machine is a 22" Innova with Lightening Stitch Regulation and QuiltEZ Butler Robotics. The creative process involved with choosing fabrics, designs, and quilt patterns has always challenged me; and early in 2017 my husband and I decided it was time for this passion of mine to become a full-time endeavor. I truly believe every quilt top is a work of art, and my quilting should showcase the quilter's work of art. I strive to establish a balance between the work that goes into designing, cutting, and sewing the quilt top with the work of quilting the top. I truly believe that each quilt has a story to tell, and this story should be enhanced by the quilting. Allow me to utilize my longarm quilting services to complete your custom quilting needs.
Services Offered: Edge to Edge, Custom Design
Edge to edge quilting consists of one pattern that is used for the entire quilt surface with one thread color.
Custom Design: Individual designs for individual quilt blocks, sashing, and borders.
100% cotton materials only
Please provide backing material that is 8" longer and wider than your quilt top.
Hobbs 80/20 Batting 90" (Available for purchase)
This batting is great for machine quilters. Heirloom cotton batting shrinks about 3-5%. It is very clean cotton mixed with 20% polyester, lightly needle punched and lightly resonated. The result is a dream batting for the quilter.
Customer supplied batting: I am happy to use any batting as long as it is 8" wider and longer than the quilt top.
Below is just a small sample of what I have the ability to do:
